About Handpan (Hangdrum)

About Handpan (Hangdrum)

HANDPAN or Hangdrum is a type of musical instrument that can also be called ”pantam”.
This instrument consists of two bowls made of steel sheet that are stuck together at the edge and hollow inside it, creating the shape of a convex lens. At the top of the instrument we have a “center note” or “ding” and seven or eight notes are hammered around the ding. The bottom of the “Gu” is a simple surface with a rolling hole in the center that can be created when tapping the edge. For example, Handpan has 9 notes, including 1 center note and 8 side notes.
The drum regiment generally plays with your hands and fingers, creating a beautiful sound, melodic music. By playing this instrument, you put aside all the trivial things and quietly listen to its sound.
A great choice for meditation, yoga, playing in nature, street performances, festival celebrations, gathering with friends and family.
